Abstract
The authors report a caild who has a kindred affected with epidermolysis bullosa hereditaria -simplex over 5 generations.
Diagnosis was made on the basis of family history, clinical maifestations. and histological findings of the affected skin. The absence of dystrophic changes of the skin and mucous membrane is characteristic of this tybe and gives a better prognosis than the dystrophis form. Trauma and moisture should be avoided as possible, since it may Induce new lesions. The chlorcquine has been being made an attempt in this case during warm weather, on the basis of passage¢¥s report which the chlorcquine sulfate is effective in prevention and delaying of new lesions and treatment of the epidermolysis b-illcsa simplex.
We are observing the results whether the chloroquine sulfate could prevent or delay deveolpment .of the new lesions associated with trauma, as Passage mentioned.
